Daily Schedule is not just committee but more than that is as tradition of Department of English. A day without Daily Schedule in Department seems incomplete. We start our day by Chanting of University song and Prayers and with various columns like Thought for the Day, News Reading, Vocabulary Drill, Personal Presentation, Opinion Building, Poetry Recitation, Regional Literature, Book Report, Movie review, General Knowledge, Photograph of the day, Humor of the day, Board work and ends with our National Song. The activities are a blessing for us as we get academic as well non-academic things which presented by students in various columns. Its u It updates our day to day knowledge and enhances our confidence as well as speaking skills. It is like a energy drink from which we get energized. Since our school time, we have been doing prayer and this tradition is going on here too. Prayers are done in various languages like English, Hindi, Gujarati and Sanskrit. Coolum’s like News reading, vocabulary drill enhance students outer knowledge of the world. Vocabulary drill is not limited with Words and Dictionary meanings but student find various word or phrase  which are used in social media or any other place by any other authority, for example word “Hugplomacy” { Political word use by Rahul Gandhi for Pm Modi/ means Hug + Diplomacy = Hugplomacy} So students can express their views on different kind of political or social activities with participating columns vocabulary drill like personal presentation, they can present video and with that they can express their view points. Poetry recitation column in which students presents any poems from any language and they also in which they can show their creativity of creating a poetry, Students trying their creativity like poems, movie reviews, book reviews as it needs ideas to think and write review or a report. Students learn how to manage the things when they are anchoring in the Daily Schedule, they can overcome their stage fear by anchoring Daily schedule specially they can learn the management skill and speaking skill also. Movie review or book review are also projected here because movies are also has so many things to tell or taught so what they can see or read they can share and sharing their experiences among all. Board work column is for to appreciating the student who done wonderful board work throughout the year. Daily schedule committee not only limited to department activity but also organized a visit to a Slum area, where students voluntarily donating a money and by that distribute a food packets to slum children’s. Also had a discussion with slum people hear their problems of day to day life and also decided to help them all student together. At last I would like to say that the daily schedule is enhancing students various kinds of skills and knowledge. Daily schedule committee also gives an annual chart of participation of students so its enhance encouragement to students. To work in this committee is not an easy task, or also work in committee require not only member and leader but also require co-operation collaboration and support , especially in to organizing the visit to slum and for that I would like to Thank full to all my member.
