Here is my views
literature is capture every event that happens in society. And later on its takes form of either history, or historical documentary. and literature as a witness of that movement.
Brave new world and 1984 both novels are strongly reflect contemporary world, though they were written more than five decades ago. In both the novels world are controlled by few people and having own thoughts and to express it is crime in 1984. In contemporary politics we can see both the matters. Today world is controlled by politicians and rich people and we can not express our views. It is like crime to think and express it in our time also.
When something is told before and after many years of that types of things really happen then people take interest in it. In literature we always compares the things with contemporary time. And if it goes like these two novels, people will take more interest to know about other things in these books. So, very close reflection of contemporary issues might be the reason for growth of interest in these two novels.
